Why can't I set the date between 9:00 pm and 3:00 am?

How do I set the date correctly?

You usually set the date using the first crown position. To do this, gently pull the crown out one notch and turn it slowly until the correct date is displayed.

Please don't adjust the date between about 9:00 pm and 3:00 am. During this time, the movement is preparing for or already carrying out the automatic date change.

If you quick-set the date during this phase, the mechanism can be put under strain or damaged. So set the time first, outside of this time window, and then correct the date afterwards.

Once you've finished setting it, push the crown back in fully. If you have a screw-down crown, screw it back in tightly afterwards.
