Why does my watch look different depending on the light?

Watches can look different depending on the light, angle and surroundings.

This is down to the finishes, surfaces, reflections and the structure of the dial. Polished surfaces reflect light differently to brushed or matte surfaces.

Colours can also appear lighter, darker or warmer depending on daylight, artificial light or shadow.

These visual differences are normal and part of the watch's design. They bring out many details and mean the watch can look slightly different depending on the situation.
